'Prime Suspect' returns as a prequel

"Masterpiece: Prime Suspect: Tennison” (10 tonight, PBS) is a prequel to the Helen Mirren series and focuses on a 22-year-old Jane Tennison (Stefani Martini) as a rookie policewoman in 1973 East London.

2017 TCA Award nominees announced

Nominations for the 2017 TCA Awards were announced today with NBC's "This is Us," FX's "Atlanta" and Hulu's "The Handmaids Tale" picking up four awards each.

"Odd Squad" and "Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood" from Pittsburgh's the Fred Rogers Co. were both nominated in outstanding youth programming.

ABC shifts finale date/time for 'Downward Dog'

Rather than airing its final episode on July 4th,  ABC will air the last two episodes of filmed-in-Pittsburgh comedy “Downward Dog” back-to-back at 10 and 10:30 p.m. June 27 following a two-hour installment of “The Bachelor.”
