Jane Lynch continues to host "Hollywood Game Night," which grew out of actual game nights hosted by the show's executive producer Sean Hayes.
"I love hosting parties," Lynch said. "But I have severe social anxieties so I love hosting and creating a space for people to have fun. When I have a party, I usually spend all my time in the kitchen cleaning up and making sure everyone has a good time. This job is perfect for that skill set and those particular psychological issues."
Lynch said "the skinny girls are the meanest," referring to the competitiveness of past players Julie Bowen ("Modern Family"), Angela Kinsey ("The Office") and Ellie Kemper ("The Office").
The new season brings with it a few new games and new celebrity players. It's an easy time commitment for the celebs, Lynch said, just three hours per episode.
And producers said two different home games -- a card game and a board game -- are in the works and will be available for purchase later in 2014.
Here's a trailer for the new season:
