This week's TV Q&A (after the "Read more" jump below) responds to questions about “Endeavour,” “Leverage” reruns and “The Sing-Off.” As always, thanks for reading and keep the questions coming.

- Rob Owen, Post-Gazette TV writer

Q: Have been enjoying Masterpiece Mystery series "Endeavour." Will the series continue after tonight’s conclusion? Hope it does, I enjoy all of the “Masterpiece” dramas.

- Stephanie, 67, Plum

Rob: Yes, four more episodes were ordered. No air date has been announced but my guess is they’ll air on PBS in the U.S. next summer.

Q: I really enjoyed “Leverage” on TNT. Is the show coming back?

 - Tom, Maple Grove, Minn.

Rob: No, it won’t be back. “Leverage” was canceled by TNT last year.

Q: I was wondering if “The Sing-Off” was ever coming back. I really enjoyed that show and we go to a local Accapellastock every year where at least one of the groups from the show performed.
- Kaelyn, 52, Kaysville, Utah

Rob: Yes, NBC reactivated “The Sing-Off” after a year off. It’s expected that the show’s fourth season will air this December with Jewel as a new judge on the show.

Q: I would like to know if they'll ever release the TV show "Cold Case" on DVD.

- Dana, 41, Minnesota

Rob: Warner Bros. owns the rights. My guess is they will not release it through traditional means – if they were going to do that they probably would have by now -- but maybe at some point Warner Bros. will make it available through their Warner Archive, which is essentially a made-to-order DVD program. Or maybe they won’t. “Cold Case” used a lot of expensive music, which may render it unreleasable.

Q: Why is WTAE promoting this Ryan Recker guy so much. I've never seen so many ads for one person in all the years I've lived here.

- Judy, 49, Scott

Rob: TV stations often promote new hires. If WTAE is flogging his hiring more than usual, perhaps it’s due to a fair amount of turnover in the station’s sports department in recent years, particularly compared to a low turnover rate in the sports departments at rival stations.
